It is important to note that since you will be charged as per weight you may wish to compact certain items and then place larger more ungainly items on top. It may be advisable to preorder our ‘brick only’, ‘dirt only’, steel and aluminium only’ or ‘renovations only’ roller on/off bins should you have a large quantity of heavier items such as brick, soil, concrete and timber. In this case, none of the above noted items can be mixed: ie: brick with tree stumps or dirt with laminate counters or gyprock. There are weight restrictions on these bins and they must under no circumstances be overloaded or filled above the rim. Tree stumps or branches of 30 cm or larger will not be accepted as they pose unsafe transportation risks.

While we do not handle hazardous material such as chemicals, fuel or paint, we can advise you on the current environmental regulations regarding their disposal. Heavy fines will be imposed if these regulations are not met. We do have specialised bins equipped to handle the disposal of asbestos, though these skip bins can only handle from 10 to 15 sheets at a time. The material must be securely taped in plastic bags and the bin lid tightly fastened prior to pick-up. No part of the asbestos can be visible inside the skip bin. The skip bin pick-up operator will advise you on the state of any loose asbestos and how to proceed to secure it before pick-up is accepted.
